Ahoy Sailors!

As the President of Delta Gamma, Alpha Lambda chapter at Drake University, I would like to welcome you to learn more about our wonderful organization through our website. Although it will only give a brief snapshot into our lives as Delta Gammas at Drake, I hope it will help you understand just how special being a Delta Gamma is.

In my time as a Delta Gamma, I have met some of the most inspiring, hard-working, and caring women, who I now consider my closest friends. Here at DG, you can find a study partner, a mentor, a running buddy, someone who shares your passion for service, and of course, true sisterhood and friendship. Most importantly though, Delta Gamma is a place where you can be yourself. Every woman that calls herself a member of our chapter is unique and brings something special to our chapter - it goes without saying that there is never a dull moment with these women, and I can easily say that Delta Gamma has been the most worthwhile and meaningful experience of my time at Drake University.

Delta Gamma aims to foster high ideals of friendship among women, to promote their educational and cultural interest, to create in them a true sense of social responsibility, and to develop in them the best qualities of character.

Delta Gamma is for hope, for strength, and for life.
